Video Premiere: The Chainsmokers - Kanye ft. sirenXX
The Chainsmokers return with a follow-up single to their viral hit "#SELFIE" entitled "Kanye" featuring guest vocals from Los Angeles-based female duo sirenXX. According to the NYC DJ duo themselves, the song is about "being the person you want to be and not letting anyone take that from you" as exemplified by Kanye West.
The Niklaus Lange-directed visual is a sequel to "#SELFIE" and the story starts right where the original left off that is in the women's room. The music video follows a story of a beautiful young maid who cleans the room of the two socialites featured in the first installment. As soon as she tries on a beautiful white dress left on the floor, she gets dragged into a party by a few party-goers where she has insanely good time together with her newly made friends as well as our DJ duo Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. The modern Cinderella story ends when our heroine returns home to her lovely daughter and loving husband.
