The Weeknd serenades a bunch of scantily clad burlesque dancers in the highly erotic visual for his brand-new single "Earned It". The song was written by the Canadian PBR&B singer-songwriter (real name Abel Tesfaye) together with Ahmad Balshe, Stephan Moccio and Jason "DaHeala" Quenneville with the latter two serving as its producers. The smooth track serves as the first single from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" original motion picture soundtrack, scheduled to be released by Republic Records on February 10, 2015, just three days before the premiere of the highly anticipated movie. The album will feature 16 tracks with songs by The Rolling Stones, Beyoncé, Annie Lennox, Ellie Goulding, and more.
The music video was shot by the "Fifty Shades of Grey" director Sam Taylor-Johnson and features the film's leading star Dakota Johnson tied up and hanging from the ceiling wearing flesh-colored lingerie. The clip also shows a group of exotic dancers dressed in very revealing dominatrix-inspired outfits with black pasties covering their nipples and "X" tape marks on their buttocks in a very BDSM fashion.
