Beyoncé pays tribute to her hometown Houston, Texas in the official visual for "No Angel". The song was written and produced by the R&B superstar herself together with James Fauntleroy and Caroline Polachek. The chillwave midtempo track is featured on Beyoncé's visual album 'BEYONCÉ', originally released on December 13, 2013 and its Platinum Edition released on November 24, 2014 by Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.
The music video was directed by @lilinternet and aims to offer an authentic view of Houston as it portrays its unique candy-painted car culture and people from all walks of life. The clip features cameos from H-Town rappers like Bun B, Slim Thug, Trae tha Truth, Scarface, Paul Wall, Kirko Bangz, Willie D, Lil' Keke, Z-Ro and Johny Dang.
