Selena Gomez contemplates the meaning of love in the face of adversity at various stages of relationships as experienced by ordinary people in the official visual for her smash-hit single "Same Old Love". The song was written by Charli XCX (Charlotte Aitchison), Ross Golan together with Stargate (Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen) and Benny Blanco (Benjamin Levin), who also produced the record. The midtempo electropop-and-synthpop track serves as the second single taken from Selena Gomez' second studio album 'Revival', released on October 9, 2015 via Interscope and Polydor Records.
The accompanying music video was directed by Michael Haussman. It follows Selena from her hotel in Los Angeles through a limo ride, a sneak appearance at a night club, a walk around the city with the nosy popstar peaking into people's windows on her way to a concert venue where she ends up performing her single in front of an audience of 800 fans.The visual was filmed in the Broadway Theater District of Los Angeles.
