Britney Spears teams up with Iggy Azalea in the alien-tastic cinematic visual for their brand-new single, aptly titled "Pretty Girls". The song was written and produced by Anglo-American music production trio known as The Invisible Men, with additional writing from British singer-songwriter Maegan Cottone, Australian-born female rapper Iggy Azalea and British girl band Little Mix. "Pretty Girls" is an electro-hop track and marks the very first collaboration between pop icon Britney Spears and hip-hop sensation Iggy Azalea.
The music video for the power girl anthem was co-directed by Iggy Azalea and Cameron Duddy and is a homage to the 1988 comedy "Earth Girls Are Easy", starring Geena Davis, Damon Wayans, Jeff Goldblum and Jim Carrey. In the '80's-themed clip Iggy Azalea plays a visitor from outer space that crash lands in Britney's swimming pool. The two strangers quickly turn into besties and take on Los Angeles following Iggy's earthly make-over. The visual is a classic 80's throwback with both ladies sporting colorful 1980s fashion and big old school gear and riding in old school muscle cars. Iggy Azalea gives a much-expected display of her alien powers by making an old school TV set explode, turning water pink, making it rain on the people in the street by causing an ATM to shoot out cash and even magically transforming Britney's 1980's Zach Morris handheld phone into a brand-new Samsung Galaxy S6. Talk about clever product placement. Britney Spears' Las Vegas residency has been doing her body wonders and now we get to see her break out nice dance moves and show-off that sexy toned-body with no sign of post-baby weight. Britney and Iggy enjoy great chemistry together and hopefully they will work on future projects.
