Rihanna teams up with Kanye West and Paul McCartney in the black-and-white visual for their brand-new single "FourFiveSeconds". The song was written by Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Kirby Lauryen, Mike Dean, Tyrone Griffin, Dave Longstreth, Dallas Austin, Elon Rutberg and Noah Goldstein. The acoustic track serves as the first single taken from Rihanna's upcoming eighth studio album. The record's non-urban sound is a fusion of pop, country and folk music.
The music video was directed by Dutch photographer duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Although visually appealing, the clip looks a lot like a GAP commercial with both Rihanna and Kanye rocking denim. Both the song and the simplistic video are a great departure from the Barbadian star's usual high production style.
