Maroon 5's epic music video for their latest single "Sugar" has become a viral hit with over 64 million views on YouTube alone. In the clip, the pop rockers drive around Hollywood crashing multiple weddings at multiple locations with surprise live performances that leave the grooms, brides and the guests speechless. The beautiful short film was directed by filmmaker David Dobkin and was shot in December 2014 in Los Angeles. The phenomenal music video is based on the plot story of Dobkin's 2005 romantic comedy "Wedding Crashers", starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.
"Sugar" is the third single from Maroon 5's fifth studio album 'V'. In this disco-influenced tune, the 35-year-old Adam Levine, who married Behati Prinsloo in 2014, sings about how he wants his girl's love, which he calls sugar. The disco, funk-pop and soul song was written by Adam Levine, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Mike Posner, Joshua "Ammo" Coleman and Henry "Circkut" Walter, with the latter two serving as the track's producers.
