Beyoncé hits a roller skating rink in the official visual for her groovy single "Blow". The song, laden with sexual innuendos, is an ode to oral sex and is featured on the singer's self-titled fifth studio album released on December 13, 2013 and its platinum re-release edition out now. It was written by Beyoncé together with Pharrell Williams, James Fauntleroy, Timbaland, Jerome Harmon and Justin Timberlake. The funky track was produced by Pharrell Williams, Beyoncé Knowles, Timbaland and Jerome Harmon.
The music video was directed by legendary director Hype Williams and with its disco and retro fashion elements is a perfect '80s throwback. The sensual visual finds Beyoncé revisiting her youth as it was filmed at the roller skating rink Fun Plex in Houston, Texas, which the R&B superstar used to frequent as a child. It includes numerous references to music videos from the '80s with Beyoncé dancing atop a car while her band is seen performing the song on keytars in the background. The clip features cameos from Beyoncé's sister Solange Knowles, French dancing duo Les Twins and Houston rapper Nosaprise.
