Video Premiere: Pharrell Williams - Gust of Wind ft. Daft Punk
Take a walk through the woods with forest ranger Pharrell Williams in the official visual for his new single "Gust of Wind" featuring the iconic robotic sound of French electronic music duo Daft Punk duo. The track was written by Pharrell Williams together with Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo better known as Daft Punk. It serves as the fifth single from Pharrell's critically-acclaimed sophomore album 'G I R L', released on March 3, 2014 via his own label I Am Other and Columbia Records.
In the Edgar Wright-directed music video Pharrell Williams encounters 2 mysterious head-shaped rocks in the likeness of Daft Punk as he ventures through an enchanted forest filled with racially-diverse ribbon dancing beauties performing a flying choreography straight out of cult Chinese martial-arts classic "House of Flying Daggers". The robotic rocks take off and hover over the party before flying away.
