Video Premiere: Maroon 5 - Animals Lyric Video
Maroon 5's official lyric video for their new single "Animals" might either get you in the mood or creep you out, depending whether you're into snakes or not. The Benny Blanco and Shellback-produced track is about passionate love making and serves as the third single lifted from Maroon 5's upcoming fifth studio album 'V' (pronounced "Five"), scheduled to be released on September 1, 2014 via 222 and Interscope Records.
The lyric video was directed by Ryan Jackson-Healy and is filled with erotic symbolism as it features footage of snakes crawling through the sheets and some sexy lingerie on the floor as well as a cute rabbit munching some food in what appears to be a bride and groom's room on their wedding night and the morning after. As such the visual is very fitting given the recent wedding of Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine with Namibian supermodel Behati Prinsloo that took place last month in Mexico.
