Gabriella Cilmi breaks with the past in the mysterious and sensual black-and-white visual for "Sweeter in History", the third single from her third studio album 'The Sting' released on November 8, 2013. The chilling music video was directed by Sam Wrench and features the Australian pop star walking around a picturesque village trying to find herself. "Sweeter in History" is a song about rebirth and the graveyard scene is symbolic of death whereas the rebirth is accomplished by the singer's transformation in the river. The video was shot in Casino, a small village south of Rome, Italy.
