The song was written by the 29-year-old Canadian/Jamaican songstress together with Xavier Davidson, Craig Thompson and Alistaire. The groovy track is a fusion of reggae and dancehall music and was produced by DJ Buddha, Gregor Salto and Tzvetin Todorov. "Sexy Gal" serves as the first single from Kreesha's upcoming album Evolution Inevitable, scheduled to be released later this year by Nick Cannon's N'Credible label and Republic Records.
