K. Michelle has released a cinematic music video for her brand-new single "Something About The Night" as a way to celebrate the release of her sophomore LP 'Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?' out now via Atlantic Records. The soulful song was written by Kimberly Pate and Bianca 'blush' Atterberry. The mid-tempo track was produced by Oakwud, Flippa & Steve Ace and is the 8th track on the album. The 6-minute-long drama was directed by Child Basquiat. The clip tells a story of a talented and beautiful but troubled jazz singer, who delivers a flawless showstopping performance of her new song in front of a live audience at a night club despite her ongoing problems with her greedy manager and her excessive drinking. The 30-year-old Memphis native pays homage to legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday as she channels her inner diva on stage in the 1920s themed video.
