Video Premiere: Within Temptation - And We Run Explicit ft. Xzibit
Within Temptation teams up with rapper Xzibit in the official visual for their new single "And We Run" off of the symphonic metal band's new album 'Hydra', released on January 31, 2014. In the sci-fi themed music video for the crossover track, directed by Tim Smit, Sharon den Adel is a priestess that uses her angelic voice to send a hummingbird to Xzibit who is tied to a bio-tech chair inside of an elevated dark prison devoid of colors and sunshine. The bird is consumed by the chair soon after it lands on Xzibit's left hand and its colorful essence is intravenously transferred to the rapper giving him strength to break the synthetic chains and break through the prison walls and successfully escape into the life-giving light.
